Our founder and lead instructor, Carter, started First Due Defense with that guiding principle. By combining evidence based research and methods, along with his experience as a first responder and member of the armed forces, First Due Defense works to deepen what safety means. From classroom sessions to range instruction—our goal is to better prepare people from all walks of life to be ready for whatever challenges may arise.
